Senior Environmental Permit Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permit processes and Environmental Impact Assessments (MKB) from early stages through to decision.
• Manage both large and small assignments, driving projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Focus on permit processes within energy/concessions, water supply, infrastructure, marine planning, and material supply.
• Contribute to business development and the evolution of environmental consulting services.

Requirements

• University degree in science or engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental permitting, MKB, or permit processes.
• Proven experience leading assignments, projects, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of the Swedish Environmental Code (Miljöbalken).
• Fluency in Swedish (both written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge in concessions, water activities, or mining/quarrying permits.
• Experience with solar energy permitting or infrastructure planning processes.
• Experience in business development within a consulting role.
