Senior Environmental Monitoring Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, sampling, supervision, and coordination with clients according to established procedures and instructions.
• Participate in service opening and closing meetings.
• Create work schedules based on Inspection Orders.
• Distribute field activities and tasks to the group of inspectors under your charge.
• Ensure compliance with schedules and the delivery of inspection documents to coordinators.
• Verify equipment and materials before and after service execution.
• Keep Project and Operations Coordinators informed about inspection progress or any affecting events.
• Ensure personnel under your charge participate in safety briefings and risk analysis (APR).
• Perform quality and safety supervision of personnel according to activity risks.
• Propose improvement opportunities for inspection and sampling procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Technical degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Competence in sampling matrices for water, air, soil, noise, and emissions.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Proficiency in Windows and Excel.
• Availability for rotating shifts and travel.
• Driver's license (A1 with 3 years min. or A2b with 2 years min.) preferred.
