Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead Policy to Compliance project management activities to ensure environmental policies are translated into effective compliance programs
• Develop and manage Boeing Hazardous Waste Landfill Strategy initiatives, including stakeholder coordination and implementation planning
• Oversee Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility Management (TSDF) activities to ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage Small Site Environmental Regulatory Compliance efforts, including tracking requirements and supporting audits
• Serve as a technical lead for environmental initiatives, driving timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment
• Partner with internal stakeholders in legal, operations, and compliance to implement environmental requirements
• Provide backup support for ISO 14001 leadership, environmental metrics, and sustainability reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Experience in environmental compliance or environmental program management
• Demonstrated strength in project management, including planning, coordination, and execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous waste management
• Experience supporting or leading ISO 14001 environmental management systems
• Familiarity with Enablon or similar environmental management information systems
• Experience managing environmental metrics
• Background in aerospace, manufacturing, or large enterprise environmental compliance programs
