Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and submission of environmental compliance documents including SPCC, SWPPP, EPCRA Tier II, and TRI reports
• Conduct hands-on environmental compliance audits to identify regulatory non-conformances
• Serve as technical lead for implementing corrective and preventive actions at client facilities
• Develop and implement compliance programs for wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and EPCRA reporting
• Provide project management support including proposal development, technical execution, and billing
• Mentor and supervise junior compliance staff in the Tennessee service line
• Travel periodically to client sites to support consulting engagements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant environmental compliance experience including consulting
• Proven technical writing expertise for permit applications and compliance reports
• Demonstrated project management experience managing multiple project teams
• Experience with business development and a "seller-doer" mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification
• Experience in air permitting, emissions calculations, and air modeling
