Senior Environment Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceive and create innovative artistic visuals for AAA titles
• Develop and implement solid art production pathways
• Manage deadlines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Mentor junior team members and manage art outsourcing
• Troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions for production risks
• Liaise with clients in a professional and authoritative manner

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in console development with at least 2 shipped titles
• Strong and versatile modelling skills with a high level of quality orientation
• Proficiency in Maya, Unreal Engine, Substance, and ZBrush
• Experience setting up LODs
• Artistic education to at least graduate level
• A strong portfolio including examples of realistic modelling and environments
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Good environment lighting skills
• A keen eye for scene composition
• Experience with mobile projects
• Experience working with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
