Senior Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture frameworks and technology standards for infrastructure and security domains
• Create reference architectures for cloud (Azure, AWS), hybrid, and on-premises environments
• Lead the architecture review board and provide governance for significant technology decisions
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations through build vs. buy analysis
• Design IT/OT architecture patterns for manufacturing and industrial environments
• Establish cloud strategy including multi-cloud governance, workload placement, and cost optimization
• Define technical debt management strategies and modernization roadmaps
• Support M&A activities with technology due diligence and integration architecture
• Align technology architecture with business capabilities and strategic objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture roles
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture for organizations of 5,000+ users
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture (Azure and/or AWS) with hands-on design experience
• Strong infrastructure architecture knowledge covering compute, storage, network, and virtualization
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive and board-level audiences
• Experience in regulated industries with compliance architecture requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in technology or business administration
• TOGAF 9.x certification
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
• Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with IT/OT convergence and industrial architecture
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture implementation
