Senior Engineer/Specialist – Mount & Bush Design

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of powertrain mounts and bushes, including elastomer mountings, housings, and fasteners
• Manage engineering aspects of specified programs to ensure delivery on time, cost, quality, and functionality
• Design and develop Frame Carriers for extension projects from pre-concept to serial production
• Create project plans for component, system, and vehicle levels
• Own the design release process including PLM entry, change management, and BOM updates
• Develop comprehensive analytical and physical validation plans
• Support vehicle test and build activities by providing technical solutions
• Ensure all technical documentation is completed, including GD&T, DFMEA, and DVP

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive projects for chassis powertrain mounts and suspension bushes
• Detailed knowledge of mounts and bushes design, validation, and manufacturing
• High proficiency in UGNX and Teamcenter (PLM)
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Valid passport for frequent travel to client locations or potential 3-year onsite assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other chassis systems such as suspension, steering, tires, and sub-frames
• Understanding of vehicle manufacturing and assembly processes
• Familiarity with automotive design and development processes
• Understanding of functional safety
• Experience performing kinematics analysis on UG
