Senior Engineering Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution of the innovation portfolio and ensure effective resource allocation across high-priority projects
• Own and optimize the Stage-Gate process, leading cross-functional teams through design reviews, risk assessments, and milestone approvals
• Lead the end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle, ensuring technical specifications, timelines, and budgets are met
• Implement Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies to ensure product robustness, reliability, and performance
• Manage the "Lab-to-Fab" transition to scale emerging technologies into commercially viable, manufacturable products
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate DFM/DFA principles to reduce cost and complexity
• Oversee laboratory operations, including equipment, protocols, and safety standards for rapid prototyping
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering, executive leadership, and external partners

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
• 15+ years of experience in R&D or Product Development
• 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proficiency in DFSS (Green or Black Belt) and Stage-Gate project management
• Proven track record of scaling complex technologies from laboratory concept to commercial launch
• PMP certification
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, MATLAB) and lab management tools
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
