About the role
Responsibilities
- Own tracking and analysis of Engineering and R&D program spend against approved budgets and forecasts
- Analyze committed, actual, and forecasted costs to identify variances and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee purchase request and requisition processes to ensure alignment with budget and company policy
- Act as a primary liaison between Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Accounting
- Develop and deliver insight-driven reports and presentations for Engineering and executive leadership
- Identify gaps in purchasing and financial workflows and lead process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in financial analysis, program support, purchasing, or operations
- Strong understanding of purchasing workflows, budget management, and financial controls
- Experience analyzing financial data and identifying trends or variances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level materials
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
