Senior Engineering & NPI Buyer

Responsibilities

• Execute the purchase of Engineering and NPI goods, materials, components, and services
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve undelivered goods issues
• Review purchase requests for compliance and issue Purchase Orders
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
• Negotiate pricing, vendor agreements, and contracts to achieve cost savings
• Solicit RFQ, RFP, and quotes for analysis
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships
• Perform data analysis relating to supplier performance and capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain within R&D or high-tech environments
• Strong negotiation and expediting experience
• Proficiency with procurement tools and processes
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite ERP
• Project management and schedule management skills
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
