Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage distributed engineering teams across European hubs, including Norway, Finland, and Romania.
• Drive the execution of Field to Cloud initiatives to achieve a seamless hardware/software ecosystem.
• Translate platform goals into actionable engineering roadmaps for EU teams in collaboration with global technology teams.
• Champion the integration of AI-native engineering practices and evangelize AI-driven development tools.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based architectures.
• Drive technical and process decision-making while maintaining transparency through effective stakeholder communication.
• Improve engineering processes and practices using Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Significant experience in software engineering management with a track record of leading multi-national or distributed teams.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development and scalable cloud-based architectures.
• Strategic vision or experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools and automation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing risk and presenting plans to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain expertise in Horizontal/Vertical Construction, BIM (Building Information Modeling), or Infrastructure software.
• Familiarity with modern model workflows and Common Data Environment (CDE) integrations.
• Experience managing distributed development teams specifically in Norway, Finland, or Romania.
