Senior Engineering Manager, SRE

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of Betterment's financial platforms
• Drive the strategy for infrastructure reliability and operational excellence
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to improve system resilience and deployment velocity

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering management, specifically leading technical teams
• Deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices
• Extensive experience scaling and maintaining complex distributed systems
• Strong ability to manage high-availability financial services infrastructure
