Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Reliability, and Maintenance functions in a 24/7 manufacturing operation
• Manage and develop engineering, reliability, and maintenance teams, including direct leadership of managers and engineers
• Partner with Operations, Quality, EH&S, and Supply Chain teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Gemba walks, 5S, Kaizen, and operational excellence programs
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs while tracking key performance metrics
• Lead capital investment projects, facility upgrades, equipment installations, and expansion initiatives
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable regulatory standards
• Manage departmental budgets and capital expenditures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of engineering and manufacturing experience within a 24/7 industrial environment
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering, maintenance, or reliability teams
• Strong project management experience supporting capital projects and manufacturing improvements
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS platforms
• Knowledge of industrial utility systems, including boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in web converting, paper/pulp converting, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
