Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering technical excellence and high accountability
- Own the security engineering roadmap and ensure high-quality delivery and risk reduction
- Drive recruiting efforts to attract top-tier talent and establish clear career paths
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed security requirements into system designs
- Oversee complex design reviews to ensure infrastructure and features are inherently secure
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security or software engineering
- 3+ years of experience directly managing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong background in software engineering and technical architecture
- Deep understanding of application security (OWASP), cloud-native architecture, and identity frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)
- Hands-on experience with security controls and architecture within AWS or similar cloud environments
- Proven track record of shipping internal security tools or services
