Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, providing a platform that spans the full care journey from Ambient AI to autonomous RCM processing. The company handles billions in annual claims and supports hundreds of millions of patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of 8+ engineers, ensuring clarity of purpose and healthy execution
• Own the technical execution and delivery of major backend systems and automation platforms
• Partner with Product and Ops teams to build backend services that solve high-value business problems
• Uphold high standards in system design, code quality, and engineering operations
• Coach and develop engineers to support career growth and technical excellence

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience in fast-paced, scaling environments
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and mentoring talent
• Strong technical background in modern backend development (Python, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing and scaling teams of 8+ engineers
• Proven ability to deliver platform-scale, reliable, and maintainable systems
• Experience making key architectural and strategic decisions that influence product direction
