Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution on your team’s roadmap from planning, prioritization, delivery, rollout, and iteration
• Raise the technical bar by guiding architecture and design decisions for observable, maintainable systems
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Implementations, Design, Clinical, and GTM counterparts
• Drive continuous improvement across planning, estimation, code review, incident response, and on-call
• Use data and metrics to drive decisions regarding reliability, performance, and delivery health
• Hire exceptional engineers and foster a culture of psychological safety, ownership, and continuous learning

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience managing software engineers
• Proven track record leading teams that ship and operate production software at scale
• Strong engineering foundation with experience in technical discussions
• Experience leading teams building production web or cloud applications (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, distributed systems)
• Excellent execution and stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Pragmatic, outcomes-oriented mindset
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, and performance management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthtech, healthcare data, or regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI, SOC 2)
• Familiarity with radiology workflows or clinical systems (PACS, RIS, EHR, HL7/FHIR, DICOM)
• Experience leading teams working closely with ML/AI systems in production
• Experience managing multiple teams or a small organization
