Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive the design, development, and optimization of core platform services using .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure.
• Lead platform modernization efforts by migrating legacy systems to cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Ensure platform security and compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and operations, to align technical initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of engineering leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Deep expertise in .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in platform engineering within the insurance or financial services industries.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
• Relevant certifications in Azure or .NET Core.
