Senior Engineering Manager (Frontend)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ownership of major web features from technical discovery to deployment
• Build performant, accessible React/Next.js and TypeScript UIs
• Design and implement reliable REST/GraphQL APIs and BFF services
• Drive performance, security, and reliability at scale
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product and Design teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 10+ years building and operating production web applications and services
• 3+ years leading technical delivery or architecture
• Strong programming in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js or Java
• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Docker, and AWS
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and caching

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, and WCAG accessibility
• Expertise in NestJS, Express, or Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with Open Telemetry, Prometheus, or Datadog
• Experience with SAP or Salesforce integrations
