Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand business needs, growth objectives, and market dynamics
  • Create a culture of innovation and technical excellence, encouraging experimentation and exploring new opportunities for company growth
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, automation, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality
  • Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, enabling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the engineering teams, holding individuals accountable for their deliverables

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager in a high performing organization
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery with large technical scope
  • Experience building and managing large scale software applications in high-growth environments
  • B.A. / B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency with modern tech stacks including Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing platforms in the Fintech, banking, or trading domain
  • Experience working with complex data and creating data visualizations
