Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical systems powering aviation operations
• Oversee multiple engineering teams across a complex, multi-year roadmap
• Drive execution across parallel workstreams and align teams around technical direction
• Operate at the system design level, guiding architecture and enforcing engineering standards
• Lead and develop teams through a high-autonomy management approach
• Partner with product, program management, and domain experts to coordinate delivery

Requirements

• Strong experience leading large-scale engineering efforts across multiple teams
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-year roadmaps with interdependent systems
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, system design, reliability, and scalability
• Experience driving high-availability systems and enforcing reliability standards
• 2-3+ years of engineering management experience
• Prior experience as a software engineer
• Ability to set structure and drive execution across large programs
• High bar for engineering quality and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to geospatial, mapping, navigation, or aviation-related systems
• Experience working in cloud environments and regulated systems (e.g., FedRAMP)
