About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end SDK architecture for video analytics pipelines, high-speed graph runtimes, and real-time communication middleware.
  • Own the SDK strategy including roadmap, engineering execution, packaging, distribution, and ecosystem enablement.
  • Design systems for heterogeneous sensor ingestion, ensuring time synchronization and deterministic pipeline behavior.
  • Ensure SDK support for mixed-criticality systems, focusing on real-time determinism, isolation, and memory efficiency.
  • Drive Developer Experience (DX) excellence through simple APIs, comprehensive documentation, and advanced profiling/tracing tools.
  • Build and scale high-performing global engineering teams, establishing technical standards and an effective operating rhythm.
  • Partner with ISVs, OEMs, and internal silicon/product teams to ensure market competitiveness and platform entitlement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and delivering cohesive, production-grade developer SDKs.
  • Extensive experience leading global engineering organizations.
  • Deep technical expertise in video analytics pipelines (decode/encode, inference, streaming).
  • Strong knowledge of multimedia frameworks (e.g., GStreamer) and computer vision ecosystems (e.g., OpenCV).
  • Expertise in distributed systems, communication middleware, and real-time systems (determinism, bounded latency).
  • Proficiency in heterogeneous compute optimization across CPU, GPU, and NPU architectures.
  • BS, MS, or equivalent degree with direct industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building SDKs specifically for embedded or edge markets such as robotics, automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with ROS2 ecosystems and autonomy stack integration.
  • Expertise in time synchronization (PTP/IEEE-1588) and multi-sensor fusion.
  • Background in safety-critical software practices and certification-adjacent processes.
  • Track record of developing advanced developer tooling, including profilers and graph visualizers.
