Senior Engineer - Water Conveyance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support the design of water transmission pipelines, wastewater gravity sewers, force mains, and pump stations.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for pressurized and gravity systems, including pump sizing, headloss, and surge screening.
• Develop and update hydraulic models using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, or InfoWorks.
• Apply US conveyance standards, including AWWA manuals, Ten States Standards, and municipal utility design criteria.
• Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with US-based Project Engineers and Managers to ensure designs meet constructability and safety expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in water or wastewater conveyance projects.
• Proven experience supporting US municipal or utility clients.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or InfoWater.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of pipeline hydraulics, pumping systems, and US conveyance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a GCC/offshore delivery model.
• Familiarity with Water West utilities (e.g., California, Washington, Oregon, or Arizona).
• Exposure to pump station layouts, P&IDs, or design-build delivery.
