Senior Engineer - Transport Policies

Responsibilities

• Develop and detail systems for regulating and managing transport demand in Dubai in line with RTA policies.
• Propose and draft policies to create balance in the transport system, including temporal and spatial trip redistribution.
• Identify and document strategic priorities and implementation programs that encourage sustainable and mass transport.
• Develop and update databases and tools required to evaluate transport-demand policies and procedures.
• Conduct strategic and detailed technical studies on transport-demand management to support road and transport system efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate consultation, alignment, and information exchange.
• Prepare reports and presentations on policy developments for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform benchmarking and scenario testing of transport-demand policies to support management decision-making.
• Review and improve data-collection and policy-evaluation mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transport, Traffic, or Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
