Senior Engineer - Tools and Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools for embedded software development workflows
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Docker, and Conan package management
• Develop scalable full-stack applications using Python
• Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate static code analysis tools
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis on complex embedded and tooling issues
• Manage and optimize SQL databases supporting internal engineering platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global customer engineering teams
• Write and maintain shell scripts (Bash) for Linux-based build and automation environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in embedded software tools and automation
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting (Bash)
• Experience with Linux, SQL, CMake, and Conan
• Expertise in Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines using Docker
• Background in Automotive or Industrial Automation sectors
• Experience with Python libraries such as python-can, pymodbus, scapy, numpy, or scikit-learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAN Bus and UDS protocols
• Understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet frame structure, VLAN tagging, routing, switching)
• Experience with Flask, Pytest, and REST API design
• Experience with SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) Testing
