Senior Engineer, Test Process Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead KGD and BI test process improvement projects to ensure timely execution
• Oversee wafer sorting, wafer level testing, and burn in test processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and design test processes
• Troubleshoot manufacturing test process issues and implement corrective actions
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through process optimization and automation
• Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and process documentation (WI, SOP, Control Plans)
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies like FMEA and 8D
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
• Collaborate in new product introduction (NPI) to ensure smooth manufacturing transitions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Science
• Minimum 6 years of experience in semiconductor test process engineering
• Expertise in Burn In test, wafer sorting, and wafer level testing
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test equipment and methodologies
• Proficiency with FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and quality systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or C# for test automation
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and yield management systems
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards
• Experience with SQL or big data analytics
