Senior Engineer-Test Automation

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, integration, regression, and performance scenarios.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and Database layers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback loops and optimize execution.
• Define and track quality KPIs such as defect leakage, test pass rates, and code coverage.
• Partner with developers, product managers, and UX designers to troubleshoot issues and ensure requirements are testable.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive root-cause analysis for escaped defects.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in software quality engineering with a focus on web and API-based applications.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or SpecFlow.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or JMeter.
• Strong SQL skills for validating data across relational and NoSQL stores.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (Azure or AWS).
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and manage competing priorities independently.
