Senior Engineer - Technical Analyst MBD Tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and update coding tools platforms for vehicle software development using M-scripting, Python, and VBA within a Model Based Design framework.
• Create requirement documents, validation reports, and user manuals for all developed tools.
• Perform design reviews and technical reviews for all deliveries to ensure adherence to OEM guidelines.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, performing impact analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Act as a global trainer, responsible for creating training modules and coaching junior engineers and peers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, guidelines, and templates.

Requirements

• M.E./M.Tech in Communication, Electrical, VLSI, or Embedded Systems.
• 9-15 years of experience in MATLAB Model Based Design (MBD).
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR-based coding and testing.
• Experience with coding standards such as MISRA 2023 and static code analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Python, M-Scripts, and VBA.
• Proficiency with configuration tools including SVN, Git, and Dimension.
• Experience with dSPACE-TargetLink and MBD testing approaches (MIL, SIL).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customized libraries, S-functions, and TLC.
• Familiarity with V&V tools such as SLDV, Reactis, or BTC Embedded Tester.
• Knowledge of various compilation tools like Visual Studio, Tasking, or GHS.
