Senior Engineer - System Performance

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions.
• Perform functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to align with hardware and software standards.
• Develop and analyze system-level designs, including requirements, interface definitions, and functional/performance definitions.
• Collaborate across functional teams to implement and test features and verify system accuracy.
• Drive triage of problems at the system level to determine root causes and present debugging results.
• Develop innovative ideas and improvements for product or feature areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience (or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience).
• Knowledge of 3GPP NR, LTE, or 3G standards.
• Strong functional analysis and system-level design skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical information exchange.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards.
• Experience working within a large, matrixed organization.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership.
