Senior Engineer Storage Services

Responsibilities

• Support the conception and architectural design of CEPH and NetApp solutions
• Drive continuous improvement of system landscapes with a focus on global scaling
• Develop and implement new storage solutions and services to meet evolving business needs
• Compile comprehensive documentation for operations and technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new system architectures
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
• Participate in global on-call shifts to ensure service availability

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure or storage services
• Strong knowledge of standard Linux OS (Ubuntu preferred) and Open Source technologies
• Proven experience in CEPH cluster operation within an Enterprise IT environment
• Experience with cloud and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Programming experience in languages such as C/C++, Go, or Python
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian
