Senior Engineer Software

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify AUTOSAR, ISO26262, and ISO21434 based microcontroller device drivers for peripherals such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, ADC, Flash, EEPROM, Timers, and PWM.
• Work with automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore, RISC-V, or equivalent architectures.
• Participate in requirements elicitation and definition phases of projects.
• Design, code, and develop architecture for MCAL device drivers.
• Perform static checks including Cyclomatic complexity, MISRA evaluation, and PolySpace warnings analysis.
• Develop test strategies, implement automation, and perform test execution and regression activities.
• Conduct impact analysis for change requests and support engineering managers with work breakdown structures and estimates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in embedded system software development or verification using C and assembly language.
• Strong understanding of device driver fundamentals, operating systems, and basic algorithms/data structures.
• Deep knowledge of at least one 32-bit microcontroller architecture, including multi-core, MMU, MPU, Caches, DMA, and Interrupts.
• Proficiency with debuggers such as Lauterbach or PLS.
• Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment including Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-site, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO26262, or IEC61508.
• Familiarity with development tools like Enterprise Architect and various C compiler toolchains.
