Senior Engineer, SoC Architecture

Responsibilities

• Guide development of innovative Fabric, System cache and DRAM controller architectural and microarchitectural features
• Identify and deliver subsystem architecture proposals for new and existing markets
• Evaluate architecture proposals in collaboration with SoC Architects and communicate results to engineering audiences
• Perform high-level performance modeling, simulation, and analysis of subsystem features and complex use cases
• Direct performance modeling studies to support microarchitecture inclusion based on power, area, or performance improvements
• Deliver architecture specifications to design teams and articulate them to hardware and software engineers
• Collaborate with silicon bring-up and product teams to verify and debug performance
• Work across teams to implement microarchitectural proposals across the SoC, Driver, OS, and System

Requirements

• BSc, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in SoC or ASIC design and architecture
• Direct experience in Fabric, System Cache, or DRAM controller architecture/microarchitecture
• Understanding of memory controller architecture, scheduling, prioritization, and QoS
• Detailed knowledge of ARM bus infrastructure (ACE/AXI/AHB)
• Knowledge of JEDEC standards such as LPDDR, DDR, or HBM
• Background in memory systems and computer architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BookSim Simulator
• Experience with Platform Architect
