Senior Engineer - Service

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house and on-site repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for Stäubli robotic systems
• Respond to emergency and 24/7 service calls within agreed SLA commitments
• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair robotic systems at customer sites and in-house
• Deliver remote technical support and preventive maintenance guidance to customers
• Document failures, service interventions, and field reports in CRM
• Coordinate with local management, sales, and admin teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service revenue goals

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in robotics or industrial automation
• B.E./B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline
• Strong troubleshooting experience with robotic or automation systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial automation concepts
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and CANBus
• Willingness to travel 70-75% across India for on-site support
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostics tools, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, drives, and industrial electrical concepts
• Ability to train customers on maintenance and preventive care
• Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills
