Senior Engineer - SDN

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including Juniper and Fortigate switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement scalable network solutions using Pluribus Networks and Extreme Network switches.
• Deploy and manage SDN solutions such as Ericsson SDN (ODL).
• Integrate container networking interfaces (CNI) plugins like Multus, MACVLAN, and Calico within Kubernetes environments.
• Provide 24x7 support to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for enterprise infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Strong networking background with expertise in Juniper and Fortigate (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Proficiency in Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Kubernetes CNI plugins (Multus, MACVLAN, Calico).
• Working knowledge of OpenStack or Kubernetes (Redhat).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ansible for network automation.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 availability model.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ZenOSS, or Nagios Log Server.
• Familiarity with Pluribus Networks and Extreme Network switches.
