Senior Engineer, Research Science and Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and execute EIS-based battery experiments
• Interpret impedance data to define algorithm-relevant features
• Collaborate cross-functionally with algorithms, systems, and applications teams
• Develop documentation and SOPs for reproducible testing and analysis
• Support lab setup, debugging, and validation of results

Requirements

• Experience with battery electrochemistry and testing workflows
• Experience with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to work independently in a product development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Experience translating electrochemistry into algorithm features
• Python or Matlab experience for analysis
• Experience understanding and mitigating EIS measurement artifacts
