Senior Engineer Research & Development

Responsibilities

• Implement Requirements Management (RQM) and Configuration/Change Management (CCM) methodologies and processes for Automotive projects
• Tailor RQM and CCM central processes and methodologies to meet specific project needs
• Align with the central division board regarding requirements flow, methodology, and configuration/change management
• Implement RQM flow and CCM processes and tools across department projects in alignment with lead engineers
• Own the project training plan regarding RQM flow, CCM processes, methodologies, and tools
• Mentor, coach, and provide general support to project team colleagues regarding RQM and CCM

Requirements

• College degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in hardware or software design
• Knowledge of Design, Verification, Production, and Qualification general flows and tools
• Software development skills, including scripting and XML manipulation
• Proficiency with database tools such as JAMA, Doors, Windchill, or JIRA
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electronics hardware or semiconductor development
• Knowledge of ISO26262 Automotive functional safety standards
