Senior Engineer, Reliability

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical interface tests to simulate hard disk drive reliability performance
• Conduct advanced tribological testing and analysis using state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies
• Design experimental procedures to evaluate friction, wear, and lubrication in complex mechanical systems
• Analyze test data using statistical software and develop comprehensive technical reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tribological insights into product development
• Present technical findings and recommendations to management and global teams
• Manage tribology tester maintenance, spare parts inventory, and hardware upgrading activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field
• Proven experience in tribology-related testing and analysis
• Proficiency in statistical software such as JMP or Minitab
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor or Hard Disk Drive (HDD) industry
