Senior Engineer - Rail Network Permits and Services

Responsibilities

• Review and issue No Objection Certificates (NOCs) within railway protection zones for authorities, contractors, and consultants
• Review utility diversion requests, including proposals, designs, and execution, to ensure infrastructure safety
• Approve Right-of-Way (ROW) permits and coordinate with relevant authorities to prevent conflicts with railway facilities
• Implement railway protection policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and technical standards
• Coordinate with the railway operator and internal departments to ensure the safety of railway infrastructure during reviews
• Review plot unfreezing requests for lands affected by existing or future railway corridors in coordination with Dubai Municipality
• Conduct regular site visits to ongoing projects within railway protection zones to report observations or concerns
• Contribute to the development of electronic systems and procedures related to permit issuance and operational efficiency
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous service improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
