Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, reliability, conformance, and performance for New Product Introductions (NPI/HAMR) in Head operations.
• Set up, maintain, and improve in-process and outgoing quality for Slider fabrication and Head processes.
• Monitor and improve LAR, DPPM, and Cpk for CTF parameters as identified in control plans.
• Review NPI build performance across all build phases.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement activities.
• Participate in daily operations, core team, and NPI build meetings.
• Manage and validate all changes through documented change management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Science, or an equivalent field.
• 5-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically within a Quality function.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the HDD business, particularly with slider fabrication processes.
• Strong understanding of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Lessons Learned.
• Familiarity with 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) and Digital Transformation.
