About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead critical propeller system engineering work across development, certification, and production support
- Shape technical direction through requirements definition, trade studies, and design evaluation
- Improve product performance, manufacturability, and readiness for production
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in engineering design and analysis
- Understanding of full lifecycle product development including testing and certification
- Familiarity with analytical modeling, CFD, structural modeling, CAD, and GD&T
- Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to comply with ITAR
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience concepting and introducing systems into production
- Experience transitioning designs into manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience in prototype or test environments
- Familiarity with propeller or rotating mechanical systems
