Senior Engineer, Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Analyze HDD vs Media performance data and drive Media performance optimization
• Monitor Media performance KPIs and guide continuous improvement
• Deliver actionable insights through data/process characterization
• Enhance yield, quality, and process efficiency
• Support Media performance optimization from development to high volume production
• Drive digitalization initiatives in manufacturing using advanced analytics
• Utilize AI/ML models for predictive analysis of yield, reliability, and performance trends
• Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for KPI monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Industry exposure in an Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of data analytics tools such as JMP, Minitab, and SQL
• Exposure to Python or R for data science
• Familiarity with HDD or Media process related experience
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, automation, and smart factory trends
• Ability to work on-site in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms like Azure or AWS
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
