Senior Engineer, Post Silicon Validation

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FPGA-based prototyping platforms to validate SoC/IP features and system behavior
• Perform post-silicon bring-up, validation, and debug at chip, board, and system levels
• Define and execute validation plans covering features, corner cases, and system scenarios
• Debug complex issues across hardware, firmware, and system-level interactions
• Develop test programs, automation scripts, and validation frameworks using Python, C, or C++
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for validation and root-cause analysis
• Support evaluation board bring-up and system integration activities

Requirements

• 4–10 years of experience in FPGA prototyping, post-silicon validation, or SoC validation
• Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals and SoC/embedded system architecture
• Hands-on experience with FPGA development and system validation
• Proven experience in post-silicon validation, board bring-up, and hardware debugging
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, or Ethernet
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ for test automation and data analysis
• Strong debugging skills and ability to work across global, cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hardware emulation platforms like Zebu, Palladium, or Veloce
• Exposure to pre-silicon verification or RTL development flows (Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Knowledge of embedded software/firmware including Linux or bare-metal environments
• Experience with board design, schematics, or hardware bring-up
• Familiarity with automotive or functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
