Senior Engineer - Planning

Responsibilities

• Provide materials planning expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT)
• Ensure materials availability for specific projects to meet weekly production orders and customer schedules
• Manage inventory levels, including the submission of Excess and Obsolete Inventory to customers
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) accounts to provide fast, effective service and communication
• Monitor shortage reports and perform detailed analysis to ensure "Clear to Build" (CTB) status
• Coordinate with external suppliers to expedite materials in conjunction with MRP
• Assist in generating master production schedules and running simulations using Kinaxis
• Manage work orders, MRB, and DR processes to achieve site operating goals

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain roles
• BE/B.Tech degree preferred
• Strong ability to analyze supply chain demand (pull-in or push-out)
• Deep knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOM) and product structures
• Proven experience in Master Scheduling
