Senior Engineer - PCB Tool & Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and support ECAD tools and environments used for PCB design and development
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to improve PCB design efficiency and data quality
• Implement and maintain design rules using scripts, templates, and tool configurations aligned with company standards
• Support PCB designers and engineers with tool issues, training, and best practices
• Coordinate with IT, engineering teams, and tool vendors for tool upgrades, integration, and improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of PCB design processes and ECAD tools (e.g., Siemens Xpedition)
• Experience in tool automation and scripting using Python, TCL, or similar languages
• Understanding of PCB design rules, data management, and engineering workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot tool-related issues and optimize engineering processes
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a global engineering environment
