Senior Engineer - Payment & Wallet

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, REST, AWS, and Docker
• Design and build high-volume APIs for frontends and external traders
• Drive decisions related to the architecture of production systems and ensure long-term code quality
• Manage and maintain custody solutions for digital assets, ensuring high security and compliance
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers during product development
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems
• Strong background in Ruby; knowledge of Go is a plus
• Deep understanding of API best practices
• Knowledge of cryptography, blockchain security principles, and cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and scope solutions with teammates
