Senior Engineer, Packaging Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop new processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfer them to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Design and conduct experiments to troubleshoot process issues and validate improvements.
• Develop and maintain factory automation applications and integrate systems via web services, APIs, or SECS/GEM protocols.
• Optimize Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL Server queries for data access and reporting.
• Support the fine-tuning of pre-trained machine learning models on domain-specific datasets.
• Collaborate with process, equipment, and IT teams to deliver robust AI and automation solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechatronic, Computer, Software, or Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and process simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, including neural networks.
• Programming proficiency in Python or R.
• Solid database knowledge using SQL for data mining and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic projects or experience related to manufacturing automation, MES integration, or factory data systems.
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, real-time dashboards, or digital transformation initiatives.
