Senior Engineer, New Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Changes at Post-LPR for sustaining products, including HDD BOM setup and shipment process setup.
• Coordinate factory efforts to support Engineering Change implementation from Post-LPR through End of Life.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams in the US and Asia to support product development and factory readiness.
• Review change requests, customer requirements, and product configuration controls to ensure successful market launches.
• Develop systematic factory implementation plans to achieve KPI targets for volume ramp, yield, quality, and cost.
• Supervise team members to ensure effective job accomplishment and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Business, Computer, or a related field (Engineering discipline strongly preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in an Engineering or related technical field.
• Fluency in English for effective cross-functional and global communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, materials engineering, or related technical fields.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Working knowledge of HDD Process & Technology fundamentals and Change Management procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills using structured root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
