Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data engineering workflows, including building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and troubleshooting of pipeline failures using SQL and dbt.
• Design and maintain high-performance Delta Lake pipelines using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Support AWS-based lakehouse architectures and manage data governance via Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Enable AI-ready data models by preparing feature datasets and supporting LLM-enabled use cases like RAG and semantic search.
• Optimize SQL transformations and monitor ML workloads and model inputs for quality and stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or software engineering.
• Expert-level SQL skills with experience transforming analytical datasets.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks on AWS.
• Working knowledge of dbt Core, including models, tests, and documentation.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing or ML workflows.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
