Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Support

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for issues related to manufacturing yield, quality, and throughput
• Analyze and resolve complex production problems using advanced problem-solving methods
• Lead investigations into manufacturing rejects to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Oversee the accurate handling of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and concessions
• Maintain strict compliance with Quality Management Systems and regulatory standards
• Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, and cost across manufacturing lines
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or related field)
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within a regulated industry
• Proven background working within a Quality Management System
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on manufacturing or process improvement
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the medical device industry with knowledge of GMP
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and process optimization tools
• Proficiency in using project management tools and structured problem-solving techniques
