Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review and agree technical requirements of the client remit
• Contribute to the development of fee proposals
• Organise and lead the day-to-day workload of engineers and technical staff within the Design team
• Ensure technical compliance of the design to the remit
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements, CDM Regulations, and company SHEMS/QMS
• Contribute to financial and commercial management, including progress monitoring and change control
• Deliver alternative solutions and value engineering

Requirements

• Experience in multidisciplinary design delivery
• Extensive postgraduate experience in the design of hydraulic structures or river engineering
• Chartered or Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CEng MICE)
• Driving licence for site and office visits
• Ability to manage uncertainty and technical risk
