About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, specification, development, and implementation of qualified manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Plan and execute major equipment and validation projects, including life cycle management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead equipment installation, qualification, validation, and start-up for assigned projects.
  • Develop and execute plans to maintain high levels of Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
  • Manage capital appropriation, project spending, and equipment asset management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key projects in alignment with site goals.
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and processes using tools like DMAIC or Kepner Tregoe.
  • Review and approve Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) and Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in engineering roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of Commissioning, Qualification, and Computer System Validation (CSV).
  • Experience with installation and troubleshooting of liquid or solid oral dose production and packaging equipment.
  • Leadership skills to mentor junior staff and influence peer engineers.
